How to set string's default value for field with multiple rows?

Question

Is there a way to set default value for the string (long) field when it's value spreads across multiple lines?

I need following text block to be set as multirow's field default value.

What monetary and non-monetary business value is created as a result of this project.

HIGH
▪ Payback in less than 2.5 years
▪ Significant non-monetary value
MEDIUM
▪ Payback in 2.5-5 years
▪ Some non-monetary value
LOW
▪ Payback in more than 5 years

---

In designer's 'fields' section I can only enter the first line, the rest is ignored.
Joining text with JavaScript newlines (\n) doesn't help, they are not being interpreted. Then default value get's following result:

What monetary and non-monetary business value is created as a result of this project.\n\nHIGH\n▪ Payback in less than 2.5 years\n▪ Significant non-monetary value\nMEDIUM\n▪ Payback in 2.5-5 years\n▪ Some non-monetary value\nLOW\n▪ Payback in more than 5 years

Hello Ingus,

unfortunately it is currently not possible to set multi-line default values.

If this is an important feature for you please write an e-mail to pm[at]optimal-systems.de and describe what exactly you need and why.
(If it gets implemented, then only for the current version -> 5.x)
