Prioritizing Full-text Hit Lists

According to the documentation, the full-text hit lists in yuuvis RAD are also weighted according to the number of file versions.
Can this be configured to have less weight or be disabled?

Hi Mathias!

It’s our default behavior. You can turn it off if you configure your own scoring criteria.

please, can you tell us why you want to deactivate this scoring?

We are currently discussing whether to introduce a switch that allows disabling the scoring feature.

The use case is that the search output for the users may change although the data the users were searching did not change.
It is also hard to understand for users why a document is ranked higher than a document where the proximity of search terms is better.

Hi Mathias,
we have finished the implementation yesterday for version 9.1. We are looking forward to bringing this as a hotfix into 8.16 LTS as well. The delivery will within the next week.
