Custom client link via sidebar in new tab

is there a way to tell the custom client to open an external custom link in a new tab?

Hi Mathias,

I got this info from our developers:

"The new tab doesn't work like that, he has to use crtl+ click or something...

We have our default links and underneath them are the custom links. To mix the two is possible but absolutely not recommended...
The custom links are easy to sort with css."
