Customizing of follow-up and subscription mails

Hi OS,

I customized the mails that are sent when a follow-up or a subscription is set by a user and wants to receive a mail about it.
I did this my manipulating the files in this folder: \core-service\standalone\configuration\template\system\communication

My questions:
1. Is this the recommended way to do it or is there some other (better) way to do this?
2. Will these files be overwritten when I update the core-service?

Hi Mathias,

yes, that is the correct way to do it and yes the files will be overwritten.
Please backup before and copy back after any update of the core-service.
